Once payment is processed, you will immediately receive a email confirming your course details and payment receipt.
A lunch (subject to dietary requirements) will be provided to the Delegate on their training date(s) together with unlimited water, tea and coffee.
0-10 working days before an Event and/or Services: a 50% cancellation fee will be payable.
11-20 working days before an Event and/or Services: a 25% cancellation fee will be payable.
To help our Delegates avoid paying any cancellation fee we have included a One Change Policy that allows a Delegate to change their training date to the next available course.
Because we know solicitors are busy and can be called upon by clients at short notice we have allowed Delegates to change their training date 14 days before the training day so as not to incur cancellation changes.
Feedback reveals that most clients prefer to see upfront costs from the outset. Please note VAT is charged at the statutory 20% (VAT is subject to change).
Training is carried out at our professional air conditioned offices in Chancery Lane in the heart of the legal district close to the Law Society.
After 31 October 2015 the Certificate of Attendance (which should be retained for the regulatory 6 years) demonstrates to the SRA that you have taken measures to maintain a good level of competence for your 2016/17 practising year.
From 1 November 2014, solicitors do not need to undertake any accredited training to ensure ongoing competence.
Yes for those lawyers (until 31 October 2016) still following the existing 16 hours CPD requirements as regulated by the SRA
O(7.6) of the SRA Code of Conduct and states : [you] train individuals working in the firm to maintain a level of competence appropriate to their work and level of responsibility”.
A Certificate of Attendance will be emailed (or sent in the post) to you once you have successfully completed the course. This Certificate also demonstrates you have complied with Outcome 7.6 of the SRA Code of Conduct).
